The problem we have identified is that adults with epilepsy need a way to come to terms with the emotional stigmas they sometimes hold surrounding their condition because a social embarassment around their condition has kept them from coming to terms with it.
Our target users are adults who suffer from epileptic seizures.
We have access to the target users through Sabah's relationship to Rhode Island Hospital.
To solve the problem, we are proposing that a GUI meant to serve educational content on epilepsy, tailored toward the patient, will give them a stigma-free environment in which to learn about their condition from epilepsy professionals.
Sabah and Brennan have experience with the backend framework (Flask, Python) and therefore plan to do the brunt of the backend work. That leaves Nick and Ruifuang to head the implementation of the frontend user interface.
With that being said, all team members will participate equally in designing the user interface, as well as attending customer interviews and/or conducting customer research.
